To check what kind of mentions you get in google, the best way to do that is to Create a Google Alert. Google Alerts are emails automatically sent to you when there are new Google results for your search terms.

How to setup Google Alert?

  • Go to Google Alerts.
  • In the box at the top, enter a topic you want to follow.(In your case it willbe your brand name or your business name)
  • To change your settings, click Show options. You can change:
  • How often you get notifications (frequency of notification you will get)
  • The types of sites you’ll see (ex: blog, web, social media etc)
  • Your language
  • The part of the world you want info from (you cans elect any specific location from here)
  • How many results you want to see (you can choose as many result you want)
  • What accounts get the alert (authorizing your account)
  • Click Create Alert. You’ll get emails whenever we find matching search results.

Once you set the alerts, within 24 hours (generally starts within minutes) you will start recieving alerts about your brand/business and you will get a fair idea of how popular is your brand/business in Google or where you need to work to make it better.

This way you can get regular and automated update from Google on how your brand is going.
